Deities of the Kiavalkans
In the bleak mountains and rocky shores of the far northeast, the Kiavalkan tribes honor their ancestors, a handful of mighty gods, and the countless local spirits of water, wood, stone, and beasts that make the difference between life and death. Some remote tribes never adopted worship of the gods, but make sacrifices and follow tabboos to placate the fickle spirits of nature: wind, wolf, bear, elk, fish, seal, whale, madness, and the ever-hungry sea.
